This anime is centered upon Ippo, a high school kid that gets bullied around because he can’t hang around with his friends and smells of fish since he needs to help out his mum with the family fishing business. However, one day whilst getting beaten up he is saved by a boxer and after that incident he becomes determined to become strong.
